Yes, Massage Buddy is free to all clients! There is no catch or monthly payments. The only thing required to book a Massage Buddy is a small deposit, the rest is paid only when you meet. The Massage Buddy does not receive a payment until they meet the client so you are always secured. The bigger the purchase, the smaller the deposit percentage required to confirm a booking. Contact Information may be shared during or after checkout, it is impossible to share otherwise.

First, make sure all credit card or debit card information such as card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address are correct and try again. If this did not work, please wait 15 minutes and try your payment again. This removes any chance of your payment being blocked due to a security measure preventing accidental payments. If it still did not work, you may contact your bank and request they allow the next attempt to go through, try another card that allows international payments, or try another bank. If after all this, you're still not successful, contact support and we'll process your credit/debit card payment for you using other payments methods.

You can also try the alternative payment options listed under "Payment By". We offer PayPal, Google Wallet, Bitcoin, Square, and email bank to bank transfer. If any of these are unfamiliar to you, no worries. We can process the payment for you if you allows us. Users may also make deposits into their account using any payment method for quick checkouts in the future. We do not currently allow users to confirm bookings using cash.

The proper order of communication is as follows: Introduce yourself to your favorite massage buddies and have a quick conversation about the booking and availability > Select a massage service or send a booking proposal > make a deposit > send contact information > unlock messages for 72 hours. Of course once a deposit is made, you're free to communicate by phone, email, or whatever other contact method you choose. Massage buddies create their own massage services and set their own prices for their sessions and duration. All massage therapists are 100% independent on the platform so make sure to review their prices when booking.

In order to book a massage buddy, clients must make a small percentage of the booking's payment. The more hours or the more expensive the services you're seeking, the lower the deposit required to book the massage buddy. The rest of the payment will be given directly to the massage buddy once you meet for the session either in cash or any mainstream online payment methods such as PayPal. Please note that purchasing massage sessions on the checkout page is the only way to share your contact information with the massage buddy, it is impossible to book otherwise. Clients can also make deposits to increase the balance on their accounts. This makes it easy to book and tip massage buddies in the future with one click instant checkouts. To use your balance, simply select the deposit option under "Payment By" when you have an existing balance. We built a system that allows both client and massage buddy full independence in communicating their bookings and massage services. With this freedom we understand some people may find it tempting to break our Terms Of Use and an important safety measure but it is highly discouraged. By attempting to do this, you are putting the massage buddy's account at risk as well and that's not very cool. To put it bluntly, you will be banned. No one has ever succeeded and you won't be the first. Please do not be banned, we don't want you to be banned. :(

Yes, all Massage Buddy profiles are 100% real and get verified before we approve & add them to our platform.

Absolutely Not. Please do not ask or bother the massage therapists about illegal services, it is insulting and they will block/report you. Clients attempting to break the law will be banned. No refunds will be given to those that are interested in anything more than professional massage therapy. You are on the wrong website for that, sorry.

Everyone over the age of 18 is welcome to become our client and find a massage buddy. Our massage buddies do not judge and accept everywhere for who they are, no matter their background.

If have any special needs you'd like to address before your session, please mention them to the massage buddy in your messages before booking. They will be happy to let you know if they can accommodate them and do their best to meet your needs especially for anyone with a disability. Please remember and consider that massage therapists have to carry their massage table and supplies with them. Always try to inform them of any obstacles that might make it difficult to reach your home or office and tip them for the trouble.

Each massage buddy on the platform is independent and clearly list the massage supplies they have available within their profile under "Massage Supplies". This section will let you know if the massage buddy always has the item on them, if the client must request the item, and if the item costs extra.

Our admins moderate profile updates to make sure everything is within our terms and no adult content is added to the site. Our system also auto moderate messages to make sure there is no harassment, spam, and our booking and deposit rules are always followed. Once a deposit has been made, the messages go partly unmoderated for 72 hours allowing contact information to be shared during this time if you forgot to do so during checkout. We do our best to construct a system and environment that makes it clear both clients and massage buddies are here to book and be booked for professional massage therapy.

The profile rules are incredibly simple. It is strictly against policy to share any contact information and urls/links in your photos and all other areas of your profile. Contact information can only be shared on a massage buddy's checkout page. No nude, offensive, or sexually explicit content, requests for sex, commercial activity of any kind, photos that don’t feature yourself, children, or copyrighted material. Photos must include your face, be of you, and centered on you.

Feel free to tip your massage buddy by visiting their profile or your conversations with them and click the tip button to send them your appreciation. Everyone loves to be complimented for providing an excellent and professional service.

Within conversations clients have the option of sending massage buddies booking proposals. Using this feature, clients can create unique offers by selecting their preferred massage services, price, date, length, and location. Once the massage buddy receives the offer, they may accept it or reject. If they accept, the client may proceed to making a small deposit for the booking + sending the massage buddy their contact information. If they rejects the offer, the client will be notified of the reason and the appropriate changes can be made to fit the massage buddy's conditions with a new proposal. Clients cannot use this feature to try and get a lower priced booking, most massage buddies are set in their own prices and will only consider their standard prices and generous offers.

Incall means the massage buddy invites you over to their private home, residence, or spa for the booking and outcall means the massage buddy will drive out to your place, motel, hotel, beach etc.. for the booking. As a client you are obligated to tip the massage buddy if they must drive more than 30 minutes to your location. Review our prices for full details on the cost.

Oncall or On-call means the massage buddy is available for bookings within 1-2 hours or less of being booked on their checkout page. In your conversation, please let the massage buddy know that you're seeking the oncall service within your preferred time frame so there is no misunderstanding once the booking is confirmed. The massage buddy MUST state to you that they are ready for the session within an agreed upon time frame and the booking must be done within 5 minutes of them stating this.

A cuddle buddy is a massage buddy that offers cuddle therapy along side massage therapy. Cuddling or touch therapy is very relaxing and help clients dramatically lower anxiety, stress, depression, along side countless other benefits. You may book a cuddle buddy for a few hours or longer if their profile states they offer cuddle therapy and have cuddle therapy services available.

Invites allows clients to create personalized massage offers for massage buddies to browse through. Massage buddies can apply for the invites they like most to show their interest in a client's proposal. When a client chooses a massage buddy, they can proceed with the booking as usual, confirm the invite with a deposit, and get ready for a great session. Invites are private, only massage buddies can see the profiles and profile names of the users posting invites. Your privacy is always a considered. Check out the Invites FAQs for all the details.

The client/massage buddy agreement consists of the most important parts of our Terms Of Use filtered for quick and easy reading. Every massage buddy and client must accept it along with our entire Terms Of Use and Privacy Policy when using any part of our service and website.

Massage Buddy only issues refunds when a therapist decides to cancel or is unresponsive + is not willing to reschedule the booking. Unresponsive massage buddies and massage buddies with more than a few cancellations are quickly removed from our platform to keep clients from wasting their time in the future. We encourage both clients and massage buddies to resolve this issue with each other and reschedule at their best agreed upon time. All refund requests are throughly reviewed and all conversations are requested to ensure the request is acceptable. No refunds are issued after 90 days.

Disclaimer: Refund rights are wavered in the event the client attempts to request illegal services from the massage buddy or becomes inappropriate in any way.

Refunds are generally only issued when massage buddies fail to go through with a booking + fail to reschedule or becomes unresponsive. For cancellation number one, a 50% deposit fee will apply. For any cancellation after a 75% deposit fee will apply. If you don't show up for a booking or attempt to cancel after it passes, you will be charged 100% of your deposit. The cancellation fees are added for the inconvenience to the massage buddy since they have to make time and prepare for you so please keep that in mind when booking. Cancellation fees can be wavered by booking another massage buddy and services valued at $600 or more within a week of canceling.

In the very rare (hasn't happened once yet) a massage buddy decides to not show up for a booking and doesn't notify you, we will give them a small window to explain the situation or they will be suspended or more likely terminated for our service. To prevent such events from taking place we are very strict with our policy on massage buddies not showing up for a booking. We generally give offenders 1 or 2 strikes then we remove them from our service. If someone doesn't show up for work or doesn't do their job, they get fired. We'll practice that age old tradition here.

Your privacy is very important to us and our reputation as a trustworthy service. Client information and identity is not shared in anyway or with anyone and nobody but the massage buddies themselves can see your profile. We have absolutely no interest in doing anything with your private information but keep it secure for its intended use of booking massage therapists.

Both client and massage buddy must shower, groom, and brush their teeth before a session and keep the perfume and cologne to a very minimum.

Our massage buddies are all licensed professional massage therapists and are verified for their credentials when signing up. Massage school is not easy and takes tons of hours and training and months of education to become a skilled massage therapist. Be sure to check out their massage services for unique modalities and offers.

To reset your password, please head to our login page and click "Forgot Password". Enter the email attached to your account and submit the form. You will within 15 to 30 seconds receive an email notification to update your password. If you do not quickly see a password reset email, please check your spam/junk folder as occasionally, email providers may mark our emails as spam. You can help fight this by marking the email as "Not Spam" and adding our email address to your contact list.

If you really have to, you can delete your account by entering your profile or account settings and scrolling to the password panel. Under it you will see the "Delete Account" button. Click this button and confirm your password to permanently delete your account.

Note: Deleting your account is never necessary as client profiles are 100% discreet. No one but the massage buddies you've had conversations with will ever see it.

At Massage Buddy we strive to provide our massage buddies and clients with the right tools to make informed decisions regarding who they're booked by and who they book. We don't routinely perform background checks on massage buddies though we reserve the right to.

Massage Buddy offers a number of features including screening tools that help our massage buddies take control of their work. The massage buddy may request any information about the client they find appropriate, massage buddies are never forced or pressured into booking any clients, and all the power of accepting a booking lies in their hands as an independent professional on the platform. We want to build a trusted community for massage buddy and clients alike. To help ensure your safety, we ask everyone of ours users to report any misconduct, harassment, and suspicious or inappropriate activity.
